Harchester United Football Club was a fictional Premier League football club from the Midlands.
It featured in the Sky 1 TV drama series Dream Team.
The club was infamous for the corruption and tragedy involving the club staff, players, and their families
The series produced by Hewland International which aired on Sky1 from 1997 to 2007.

Harchester's new stadium 'The Dragon's Lair' opens with their first Home Game of the season against Wimbledon. Jerry brings Lynda home after spending the whole summer in hospital after the shootings at Wembley. Luis feels shut out as Jerry has kept Lynda from seeing him. DI Dawson goes to the Block's new mansion to question Lynda and Jerry, Lynda tells him that she is having trouble remembering what happened on Cup Final day. New signing at the Lair, Scott Lucas causes trouble and makes an instant enemy of Sean, who is alt an all time low and missing his best mate Fletch, now playing for Real Mallorca. After a 1-1 draw against Wimbledon, Scott and Sean end up in a fight in the changing rooms. Luis breaks the pair up and tells them they are a disgrace to John Black's team, the former captain that was killed at Wembley.
The team arrive back in England and find out that Biloo's jet crashed during the night and that Biloo, Leon, Julie and Sean and presumed dead. Billy and Kelly are effected most by the disaster. Jerry's lawyer helps Jerry at the club and discovers that the dead players were not insured as Biloo's jet was not official transport, he stands to lose millions. The weekend approaching, Harchester are playing Chelsea, whilst the team want the match to be called off- Jerry tells the press that they will go ahead with the game. Wes Kingsley arrives at the club
The net closes in on Jerry as the police become suspicious of his involvement in the Wembley shooting and Lynda is also getting worried that she is going to be a target again. Lynda is also interviewed by the police but cant help them with their investigation but instead makes Lynda more worried. Scott Lucas throws a party at his flat but ends up in a fight with Michael when he thinks that Eddie is chatting up Ann. Councilor Lal is arrested on suspicion of the bribe, and Jerry convinces the police that he was the one behind the Wembley shootings, putting Jerry in the clear.
Wes collapses and is rushed to hospital and is later diagnosed with meningitis. The club's doctor tells Jerry they have to postpone their weekend Premiership game as there could be a risk to the other players, Jerry is less than happy as he will lose the income from the home game. Scott Lucas asks Ann to move in with him, however she over steps the mark when she moves her entire office into the apartment. Ray is appointed manager after Gordon's departure until the return of Luis
Lynda discovers that Jerry has cancelled her credit cards and mobile phone, so she has nothing. Lynda goes down to the club to confront Jerry and finally she tells him what she thinks of him. Marilyn introduces Prashant Dattani to Jerry and he is not impressed that she has gone behind is back. Prash tries to make a deal with Luis, if Luis convinces Lynda to sell her shares, Prash will get Luis a transfer out the club. Scott Lucas kicks off in the players lounge after the game and insults Ann, Fletch leaps to her defense and makes Scott look a fool. Billy and Fletch try and chat up a woman they meet after the game who turns out to be none other than Victoria Baptiste, the estranged wife of Didier
Fletch ends up with a broken jaw and unable to play in the Spurs game. Wes tells Kelly that it is all over between them but feels so unhappy as he loved Kelly. Luis signs for Boca Juniors much to the disappointment of Lynda who does not want him to go. Didier and Victoria have their final fight before Didier takes Prash up on his offer to get Harchester relegated so he can pay off Victoria
Ann fires Kelly because of all the bad publicity she has brought to the club over her public affair with Fletch. Kelly blames Fletch for her ruined life and so gets revenge by having his Lamborghini crushed ! Prash hands over the first half of the money to Didier who then gives it to Victoria. As the final game of the season is underway, Didier plays badly and Victoria is showing off her new expensive clothes. Towards the end of the game Harchester are drawing 2-2, Lynda realises that Prash has paid Didier to ensure the team are relegated. In a last minute attempt to save her team she tells Prash she will only sell the club if Harchester stay in the Premiership, As Didier steps up to take a last minute penalty, which if scored will keep them up, but if missed will see them playing 1st Division football next season, Prash tries to stop him from missing, but is it too late ? - Didier kicks the ball ....
