The Home Of Dream Team
Harchester United Football Club
was a fictional Premier League football club from the Midlands. |
Below you can read 10 questions that Jim very kindly answered for me today.
21st July 2011
1) How did
you get into acting?
I played the Artful Dodger in Oliver at aged 12 (Under-studying
Nigel Harman) It got great reviews and I got the bug. I did
school plays and went on to do A-level theatre studies. My
teacher begged me to go for drama school, which I did and got a
place at Rose Bruford. I got an agent after 3 year BA HONS
course in acting. My First job was London's Burning - the rest is
history.
2) Are you married or single?
Married to my beautiful wife Emma.
3) What football team do you support?
Crystal Palace - but more of a follower than supporter!
4) What do you like to do in your spare
time?
Play golf, love sport, but I went through a hip operation at the
beginning of the year, so I have to take it easy! Socialise, I
play music with a band called " The Leaf People "
5) What type of music do you like, and
what was the last album you bought?
I love all music - The stuff I wrote can be found at
www.myspace.com/jimielectric. The last album I bought was -
" The Horrors "
6) Who have been the biggest influences
in your life and career?
Gary Oldman - for acting, I wish I was as good him! - Raffa
Nadal - for mind set, and David Bowie - for his coolness!
7) What was your best moment filming
Dream Team?
I loved the challenge of my demise, but there were so many good
times.
8) Who were your best friends on the
show?
I made so many friends on the show. Angela obviously, Terry
Kiely, Adam Alfrey, Casper, Danny Husbands - the list goes on,
and I would be here all day.
9) What have you been in since Dream
Team ended?
My attention is now split between acting and my performance
coaching business. I would love more opportunities in acting,
but there is not as much as there used to be. I find Peak
performance coaching incredibly rewarding. I love working with
sports people and entertainers.
10) Do you have any new filming
projects coming up?
I have just finished filming " I SHOULDN'T BE ALIVE " for Darlow
Smithson, I have also filmed a 1hr BBC drama called " ONE NIGHT
". So I await the next opportunity - when it comes.
Jim played Jamie Parker in Season's 4, 5, 6
