The Home Of Dream Team
Harchester United Football Club
was a fictional Premier League football club from the Midlands. |
Below you can read 10 questions that Scott very kindly answered for me today.
4th October 2011
1) How did
you get into acting?
I went to a performing arts college at 16 and very quickly got
an agent who started sending me for auditions. The first time I
ever went to London was for the dream team audition when I was
17!
2) Who would you love to meet and have
a chat with .. Dead or Alive and why?
I'd love to meet and have a chat with a few people. Including
Sean Penn and kiefer sutherland. Just to go for a beer and
listen to some of the stories they must have!
3) What football team do you support?
I am a Man United fan.
4) What do you like to do in your spare
time?
I like to spend time with my 7 month old son in my spare time,
he is pretty amazing and it's top watching him learn new things
every day.
5) What type of music do you like, and
what was the last album you bought?
My music taste is massively varied! I have on my ipod everything
from Biggy to The Drifters to Adele to Johnny Cash to Jay Z and
all the way back again.
6) Who have been the biggest influences
in your life and career?
The biggest influences on my life have been my family and
friends if I'm honest. I've worked with a lot of genuinely
talented performers and I have learned a lot from them and my
career is influenced by every one of them. I like to take a
lesson off every person I work with.
7) What was your best moment filming
Dream Team?
I absolutely loved when we went to Ireland and filmed a live
football game. 12000 people turned up, I had my own body guard
and I had to score the winning penalty in the shoot out!!
Afterwards the crowd invaded the pitch and it took me 30 minutes
to get back to the dressing room!! Absolutely brilliant!!
8) Who were your best friends on Dream
Team?
I got on with everyone on the show, I still see Ali King every
now and then and I am friends with a lot of the supporting
actors who played the footballers on the show.
9) What have you been in since Dream
Team ended?
I've done allsorts since I left including 4 years on The Royal
for ITV and a comedy sketch show for BBC3 called Scallywagga. I
also just finished 6 months on Emmerdale for ITV and I will be
filming a part in a new sitcom in November called Starlings for
Sky 1!! I also do some stand up comedy which you can find on
YouTube if you type in scott taylor comedy songs!!
10) Do you have any new filming
projects coming up you can tell us about?
I answered that above!
